Volunteer  Prison  Visitors(VPV)

We, VPV, provide various rehabilitative support such as personal counselingorconsultation and educational guidance based upon our expertise andexperiencewith inmates including juveniles upon requests.    
We receive a commission from the Ministry of Justice to visit correctionalfacilitiesfor the purpose of supporting their successful reintegration into society.

The association consists of teachers and licensed lawyers, religious leaders,masters of Japanese traditional arts (Japanese tea ceremony,Flowerarrangement, etc.), with approximately 1,300 VPV members across Japan.
